KCB Series Horizontal Lubricating Oil Gear Pump Application
This KCB Series Horizontal Lubricating Oil Gear Pump is designed for pumping light fuel oils such as diesel, kerosene, and biodiesel. It is also possible to pump vegetable oil, motor oil, and even glycerol (the waste product in biodiesel process). However, the viscosity of the working fluid will greatly determine if the pump can handle it. The duty cycle of the pump may not be continuous if these thicker oils are the fluid medium and especially if they are below 100°F.
KCB series gear oil pump is also applicable to transport lubricating oil or other liquids properties similar to lubricants that not containing solid particles and fiber, noncorrosive, no more than 80 ℃, viscosity 5 x 10-6 ~ 1.5 x 10-3m2 / s (5-1500cSt).
