Marine Square Rubber Fender Introduction
Square rubber fender, as its name implies, is extruded into simple square shape and commonly used on tugs, vessels, boats, ships, small jetties, terminals, shipyards and all types of docks, etc. Comparing with D fenders, this one is stronger, more rigid and ideal for tougher service environments. Meanwhile, they can be installed in a close manner to avoid ropes and protrusions being caught between adjacent section.
Square rubber fenders in a wide range of types, designs, and sizes are available for different purposes. We introduce you four types of square fenders including SQD, SQO, SSQ and SDS types with different chambers. Additionally, side holes or top & bottom holes can be made for anchor bolts.
SQD fender, as the most common square fender, features a D-shaped inner chamber.
SQO fenders are characterized by an O-shaped inner chamber.
SSQ fenders are manufactured without any chambers.
SQS fenders have square shape chambers.
The Marine square rubber fender can be supplied with certification from any of the major classification societies.
