SG-CuSn12 Phosphor Bronze Welding Wire
SG-CuSn12 Phosphor Bronze Welding Wire Application
SG-CuSn12 Phosphor Bronze Welding Wire is a solid wire for GMAW used to weld copper-tin-bronzes as well as for copper-tin-castings. Often applied to surface worn pieces as it has a good resistance to wear.
SG-CuSn12 Phosphor Bronze Welding Wire has extremely high endurance and corrosion resistance. Suitable as mining cable for explosives in geological exploration.
Tin Bronze is a copper-tin based welding alloy containing much higher percentage of tin (approx. 12%) than Phosphor Bronze. This alloy has high strength and excellent wear and corrosion resistance due to the presence of tin in the alloy. It is suitable for both MIG and TIG welding processes and used for argon arc welding of copper-based alloys and brazing of steel.
