This Type 210 cable is primarily used for handheld equipment such as drills and boring machines, occasionally acting as a flexible lead to other equipment where heavy duty service is required. Note, certain regulatory authorities limit the use of this cable to 250/250 V.
This cable could also be suitable for use in underground coal mining applications.
