Type D Rubber Fender Introduction
Type D Rubber Fender is a semi-circular rubber fender. Type D Rubber fenders are commonly used on vessels as well as small jetties. They are compression-molded with steel inserts if required.
These fenders are used to absorb the berthing energy during mooring or berthing so as to protect the ship and the dock from being damaged. It is suitable for various docks, wharves, and ship sides. This rubber fender is of the moderate reaction force and higher energy absorption than the cylindrical type fenders. It is easy and convenient to install and change. The width of its bottom is small, so this marine fender can be installed at docks.SAN and SANP super arch rubber fenders are available in many sizes from 200mm to 1000mm high and in lengths of 1000mm to 3500mm. There are many types of rubber compounds as standard. Special requirements also are available.
The Type D Rubber Fender can be supplied with certification from any of the major classification societies.
