Butterfly valve, also called as flap valve, is a kind of regulating valves which has a simple structure. The closure member of the butterfly valve is a disc, which revolves around the valve shaft to open or close.

Butterfly valve has a lot of types. Based on the sealing materials, butterfly valve can be classified into soft seal butterfly valve and hard seal butterfly valve.
